After finding himself stuck in hot tar and unable to move, this poor dog was left stranded in the road, facing a grim fate. Thankfully, a kind soul reached out to Animal Aid Unlimited in India for help. The team quickly sprang into action, locating the paralyzed pup and rescuing him from danger. Now, this furry friend is in good hands and on the road to recovery.
When the rescuers discovered the dog, they were shocked to see the poor condition it was in. Claire Abrams from Animal Aid Unlimited expressed her disbelief at the state of the animal.
His eyes darted back and forth in a state of panic, yet he remained frozen in place.
It took four hours of relentless effort using vegetable oil to finally remove the tar from the dog’s body.
Prior to sharing his story, we waited for him to fully recover.
After diligently applying vegetable oil for a total of about four hours, 95% of the tar was successfully removed. They opted for vegetable oil instead of turpentine oil to ensure the dog’s skin wouldn’t be harmed or irritated during the removal process. He may be a bit shaken from the ordeal, but he’s a resilient pup who is feeling much better now.
