When Sandra Coudray stumbled upon a photo of Jasmine, a blind chimera cat on the Association Adoption Felin Facebook page, she was immediately smitten. Despite being malnourished and afraid of people, a little bit of love was all it took for the stray kitty to regain her trust in humans. Now, the stunning calico cat loves nothing more than kisses and cuddles, and is extremely attached to her human mom Coudray.
Coudray explained that she was eager to adopt Jasmine, knowing that she was blind, as she had previously lived with a cat who had lost its sight due to old age. Whenever Coudray visits her family in Normandy, she leaves Jasmine in the care of her brother, and the cat eagerly awaits her return, often waiting for her on her bed. Jasmine has become an integral part of Coudray’s life, bringing her and her family so much joy and love. The blind stray cat was found wandering the streets of France, confused and scared before she found her forever home with Coudray.
The little cat was brought to an animal shelter in a sad state.
CoÏ…dray expressed that Jasmine captured his heart the moment he stumbled upon her Facebook profile.
The family who took in the cat mentioned that she had a visual impairment, but in my eyes, she is just as valuable and lovable as any other feline.
As soon as I saw her, I knew I wanted to take her home with me. This decision was influenced by my past experience of living with a senior cat who had lost its vision due to aging.
It’s possible that malnutrition was the reason for her blindness, and she had a fear of both humans and animals.
Jasmine, the lovable pet, enjoys receiving lots of affection from her human mom, Coudray. She particularly cherishes kisses and cuddles, and her attachment to Coudray is undeniable.
