Shortly after the mother horse passed away, Swindle made sure to spend time with the foal in the barn to provide the necessary support during this difficult time. Surprisingly, her loyal dog, Zip, showed up that night and decided to stay with Tye, the foal, instead of leaving. Swindle noticed that Zip was empathetic towards Tye’s grief and wanted to offer comfort in any way he could. Witnessing this heartwarming gesture, Karla was moved to tears, creating a unique blend of emotions in the barn that night. This display of care and companionship didn’t end there, as Zip remained by Tye’s side for the following six weeks, never letting the foal out of his sight.
