A kindhearted neighbor stumbled upon a small feline near a house in Las Vegas. Interestingly enough, the cat’s siblings were just a few steps away, but unfortunately, they were beyond help as their mother was absent. The little kitty was left all alone and required some much-needed care.
Nikki Martinez, a dedicated volunteer in the field of animal welfare, came to the rescue when she stumbled upon a tiny and fragile kitten. Together with her husband, Pule Kotov, who had recently been diagnosed with cancer, they made a commitment to help and protect this little furry creature. Despite the challenges, Nikki and Pule were determined to provide Rocky with the best possible care and support. With round-the-clock feeding, gentle stroking, and a warm incubator, Rocky gradually gained strength and began to thrive. Even Daddy Kotov couldn’t resist the joy of bottle-feeding Rocky and watching her grow.
Rocky, the adorable baby bird, started to spread her wings and leave the nest behind at just 24 days old. She eagerly hopped into a mini-playpen, excited to start building up her leg muscles. With a curious gaze, she examined the new toys in front of her and attempted to snatch them up, even though she was still a bit unsteady on her feet.
She loved to be pampered and demanded constant snacks throughout the day. When Papulya Kotov underwent an important procedure that ended up being successful, she became the center of attention, providing comfort and distraction for her foster mother. When the father figure returned from his absence, he was enthusiastic about resuming his duties towards his beloved little one. He fed her a bottle, and she eagerly drank it, creating a heartwarming moment between the two resilient individuals. It was truly amazing to witness the support they provided each other in their journey of life.
In just a span of five weeks, Rocky has transformed into a self-sufficient feline that exudes confidence and fearlessness. She has become more lively and inquisitive, and her playful antics have become more mischievous than ever before.
Rocky’s favorite pastime is playing with Daddy Cats, chasing after his feet as he moves around the house. She enjoys sitting beside him, purring affectionately as if sensing that he needs her company to get back on his feet.
Initially, Rocky struggled with feeding herself as she was accustomed to being bottle-fed by her foster parents. However, her adoptive parents Nikki and her spouse were elated when she finally learned to eat on her own.
Nowadays, Rocky spends her days honing her cat skills and engaging in various games that cater to her adventurous spirit.
The caretakers had a vision of the perfect hosts for their little princess when it was time for her to leave the nest and explore the world on her own. According to Nikki, she was unlike any other feline she had ever encountered – fiercely independent and the sole survivor of her litter. She proved to be a true blessing during her guardians’ difficult battle with cancer. After searching for weeks, the ideal family was finally found and Rocky will soon be settling into her new, loving home. The caretakers take pride in their passion for protecting and nurturing cats in need, and plan to continue their work as long as they are able.
