Let us introduce you to the adorable Janie, a tiny kitten who captured the hearts of many after being rescued from being abandoned on the side of a road in Ontario, Canada a few months ago. Her unique fur color makes her look like a baby raccoon, which is one reason why people adore her so much.
After her rescue, Janie was taken to the Tiny but Mighty Kitten Rescue where founder Melissa noticed that despite her small size, the kitten was quite active and vocal. Melissa decided to care for Janie in an incubator, bottle-feed her, and eventually introduce her to a cat mommy named June. This plan was successful, and now Janie is a strong and active kitten who is loved by many around the world.
Janie’s silver coat, also known as a “fever coat,” is a result of her mother being ill during pregnancy. This coat is harmless to the kitten and will likely change as she grows older.
