Angel’s benefactress provided him with everything he needed, yet he still longed for the presence of siblings and a mother figure. In order to fill this void, the caring feline decided to introduce Angel to another orphan, and the two hit it off right away.
Angel, a young tabby feline, became a part of AnimalLuvr’s Dream Rescue in Florida, United States, after being rescued. She was welcomed by Nadija, a volunteer foster family for the shelter, where she met Benny, another orphan who quickly became her close companion. Initially, Angel needed constant assistance and was bottle-fed by Nadija. However, she also had the company of a mother cat residing at the shelter, who allowed Angel to suckle. With regular meals, Angel grew quickly, and as she became more comfortable with her surroundings, she started exploring her environment on her own.
A furry creature seeking love and affection, Angel had formed an unbreakable bond with her rescuer, following her every move and seeking physical contact at all times. Her rescuer, Nadija, described her as a “human cat” due to her behavior of running towards her and wanting to be carried as soon as she saw her. Witnessing Angel’s need for companionship, Nadija decided to welcome Benny, another young cat who was also in need of a home. Given that the two cats were of similar age and build, Nadija believed they would get along well. After nursing Benny back to health, Nadija introduced him to Angel a few days later.
“They are a perfect match” remarked Nadija when the latter cat laid eyes on the kitten. She recalls how the cat was immediately smitten and couldn’t resist sniffing, pawing and licking the little kitten. Benny, on the other hand, was hesitant at first but soon warmed up to his new feline friend and they became inseparable in just a matter of hours. The two grew up together, under the loving care of Nadija, until they were finally adopted by a kind lady who gave them a forever home – the pinnacle of their happiness.
