Hamilton wasn’t the only one using social media to share love for the bulldog’s birthday, though. Trainer Kirsten McMillan also shared a photo of Roscoe with the caption: ‘Six years ago today, a star was born.’

A huge dog enthusiast, Formula 1 driver Hamilton frequently shares pictures of his furry friends on his social media platforms. In addition to snaps of Roscoe enjoying a swim in the ocean, the 33-year-old British athlete previously joked that his dog makes £560 per day as a model.

Hamilton’s focus, however, remains on the upcoming Mexican Grand Prix at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, where he aims to secure his fifth Formula 1 world title. Despite a significant 70-point lead over his closest competitor, Sebastian Vettel, the Stevenage-born racer remains determined to perform well and potentially clinch the championship with two races still remaining.
