In May of 2021, Kelsea McDonough opened her heart and home to three 16-week-old foster puppies, Novo, Noah, and Nash, who had endured a challenging start in an overcrowded shelter. Witnessing their timidity, especially Nash’s, McDonough felt an immediate connection and knew she had to save them from a scheduled euthanasia.

Nash, the most traumatized, clung to McDonough, displaying an extraordinary bond from the start. McDonough’s intuition told her that Nash was meant to be hers.
