Fortunately, a compassionate woman who dedicates her time to rescuing stray dogs came to Angelo’s aid. Despite her efforts, Angelo’s condition was critical and required urgent medical attention to survive.
Angelo’s situation was touch-and-go, but thanks to the intervention of his kind-hearted rescuer, there was hope for a better tomorrow.
Wiltshire was a Great Dane puppy who was found barely moving, and it was discovered that he had stones in his stomach. Due to severe malnourishment, Angelo had resorted to eating stones to survive. His stomach was so full of stones that he couldn’t eat or poop properly when he was rescued and taken to a shelter. The situation was life-threatening and required immediate surgery, with no guarantee of the Great Dane’s recovery.
However, thanks to the dedicated care of Furever Rescue Foster, Wiltshire received the treatment he needed. Their efforts were successful in helping the malnourished pup overcome his ordeal.
Justin Finning and his wife, Deborah, were touched by Hanan from Furever Rescue Foster’s efforts to save Angelo’s life. The costly surgery and demanding recovery led Hanan to turn to social media for support. When Justin and Deborah came across Angelo’s photo, they felt an instant connection despite the distance. Determined, they set out to help Angelo in any way they could. It was as if Justin, Deborah, and Angelo were destined to come together and make a difference.
Justin and Deborah, with over three decades of experience in rescuing and caring for Great Danes with disabilities, didn’t hesitate to step in when they learned about Angelo’s situation. Despite the challenge of Angelo being in another country and unable to fly without surgery, the couple, along with Hanan, initiated a fundraising campaign to cover the costs of Angelo’s treatment. In addition to surgery, Angelo required physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, and a specialized diet, all of which came with a hefty price tag. The journey to save Angelo was a challenging yet rewarding one, ultimately leading to his recovery as seen in the heartwarming image.
Justin Finning and his partner successfully completed a heartwarming rescue mission by providing Angelo with much-needed help. After a successful surgery, Angelo required some time to recover before heading to his forever home. When the day finally came, Hanan took to Facebook to share the joy: “Finally Angelo went home and he is soo happy and enjoying his life.” Hanan thanked Justin Finning and Deborah Noakes for sponsoring and welcoming Angelo into their little piece of paradise. Now, Angelo is a happy boy in his forever home, living his best life.
Justin and Deborah made a conscious effort to assist Angelo in his full recovery. They diligently accompanied him to his therapy sessions, and after a few months of dedication, this beautiful boy finally achieved his maximum potential.
