For more than ten years, Daisy the sweet Chihuahua has been a source of joy for her family every day. So, when her fifteenth birthday approached, her family brainstormed creative ways to make her celebration extra special and bring an even bigger smile to her face.
“We always wanted to give her a huge quinceaƱera,” shared Tracy Nguyen, the owner of Daisy, with The Dodo.
“We wanted to celebrate her incredible life and honor her heritage!”
The family went all out to ensure that Daisy’s special day was unforgettable.
And it truly was.
Daisy’s friends and family came together to surprise their cherished pooch with a beautifully decorated house for the occasion. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to show Daisy just how much she is treasured.
“We could see the joy on her face, she definitely felt the love,” Nguyen remarked.
Of course, no birthday celebration is truly complete without a cake. And this time, the family had prepared something truly unique and extraordinary for Daisy.
Instead of settling for just any ordinary birthday cake for Daisy, the family decided to have one custom-made with her adorable face on it. Daisy was absolutely delighted by the special touch.
“When we brought out the cake for her special moment, tears welled up in her eyes and she was filled with happiness,” Nguyen recounted.

Daisy, a senior dog, didn’t let her age stop her from enjoying all the festivities planned for her. Nguyen mentioned she had a wonderful time at the event. Surrounded by love and affection from those who care for her, Daisy was overjoyed. Her family considers her the heart of their home and appreciates her as a funny, loving companion.
Dog health issues can vary from breed-specific conditions to common ailments. Skin problems, ear infections, and urinary tract infections are among the top ten health concerns for dogs. Signs of a skin issue may include itching, rashes, dry skin, and hair loss. Ear diseases are common in breeds with floppy ears and symptoms can include wax build-up and redness. Urinary tract infections can cause discomfort for dogs, leading to increased water intake and frequent urination. Blood in the urine or a strong odor may also indicate a UTI.
