A unique grey kitten named Midas, who was born with an extra set of ears due to a genetic anomaly, has stolen the hearts of social media users. In just three weeks, Midas has gained almost 45,000 followers on Instagram, where her owner, Canis Domesci, shares glimpses of her life in Turkey alongside two canine companions, Zeyno and Suzy.
According to Canis, Midas’s hearing is excellent, with one set of ears functioning perfectly while the front, smaller set is simply for show, giving her a distinct and adorable appearance. Adding to her charm is a heart-shaped patch of white fur on her chest.
While Midas appears to be in good health, Canis plans to have her regularly checked by a vet as she grows, ensuring that no other genetic abnormalities impact her well-being. Describing Midas as both playful and friendly, Canis noted that she has a nocturnal schedule, sleeping throughout the day and staying active at night.
Users on Reddit had a good laugh when they saw a photo of the cat Midas, noting the classic sassy attitude of felines.
