Having three toddlers in a household can be quite challenging, but one couple from California decided to take things to the next level by adding two large dogs into their family. Bee and Joshua Fisher have managed to capture the hearts of people online by sharing the incredible bond between their two bear-like dogs and their three young sons. Instead of getting a horse, Joshua chose a larger breed of dog after researching which breeds are suitable for children. Ultimately, he settled on Newfoundlands.

Joshua and Bee Fisher, a couple from California, decided to go against the norm and opt for two Newfoundlands as pets instead of a horse. Residing in Long Beach, the Fishers frequently share adorable snapshots of their furry family on Instagram. In 2014, they welcomed Ralphie, a sweet one-year-old Newfoundland, into their home. A year later, they couldn’t resist adding another member to their family and adopted Boss, another one-year-old Newfoundland. These magnificent dogs can tip the scales at a whopping 126lbs (9 stone) and measure up to an impressive six feet from nose to tail. Meeting a Newfoundland for the first time left the couple awestruck, with Bee recalling being both shocked and amused by their sheer size. Despite their initial surprise, Joshua managed to persuade Bee to expand their furry family by adding another companion to the mix.

Introducing Cruz, the delightful three-year-old sidekick of a magnificent Newfoundland Boss. These gentle and impressive giants have the potential to reach a whopping weight of 126lbs and boast an incredible length of up to six feet from their adorable snouts to the tip of their majestic tails!

Ralphie and Boss, two adorable dogs, are affectionately surrounded by Tegan, an eight-month-old infant, along with his parents. Although Tegan has not yet started crawling, his parents are confident that he will soon join in on the adventure with the dogs. The children are captivated by the size of these gentle giants. Lenox, the oldest child, enjoys relaxing and lying on the dogs. Cruz, who is three years old, is excited to play with the pups and interact with them. Tegan, being still too young to crawl, eagerly awaits the day he can join Ralphie and Boss in their fun. Ralphie weighs an impressive 125 pounds, while Boss tips the scales at an even heftier 160 pounds. Once fully grown, Boss is expected to reach an astonishing 190 pounds.

Allow me to introduce Ralphie and Boss, the adorable four-legged members of this joyful household. Ralphie tips the scales at an impressive 125 kilograms, and Boss surpasses him, weighing in at a whopping 160 kilograms! It’s hard to imagine the delight that Tegan (eight months old), Cruz (three years old), and Lenox must feel having such massive and affectionate companions by their side. As if that wasn’t impressive enough, Boss is still in the process of growing and is forecasted to reach an astounding 190 kilograms once fully matured.

These dogs are incredibly skilled at playing with children and exude nothing but love and affection towards them. Joshua, the owner, even remarked that they are gentle giants and can accompany you anywhere. They behave like small lap dogs and are always well-mannered. However, their popularity poses a challenge in terms of productivity, as everyone wants to capture a photo or pet them. Despite their size, the Fishers have successfully trained them, and they fit seamlessly into their average-sized home.

According to Joshua and Bee Fisher, their residence is of a typical size, and they have successfully trained their dogs to behave well and remain under control while indoors.

The couple mentioned that their dogs are famous and often attract people who want to pet them or take pictures with them. However, one downside of having these large pets is dealing with their excessive drooling. According to Joshua, the drool can ruin their work clothes when the dogs shake their heads. To address this issue, they keep towels in different areas of the house. Additionally, their hair is scattered everywhere, which can be a bit overwhelming, but the couple believes it is worth it.
