A Decade of Struggle: Senior Stray Pup Battles Enormous Tumor in Solitude, Untreated and Alone

He was discovered on the side of the road, immobile, with a large growth protruding from his belly. He was in a vulnerable state, and abandoning him in that condition was not an option.

Sending a shoutout for the dog’s birthday! 🎂 “Helen Summerfield-Brown” is a group of dedicated individuals working selflessly to rescue stray and abandoned animals. They recently rescued a dog in dire need and immediately took him to the hospital for medical care.

His condition was critical, and he had ceased eating, suggesting that the tumor was slowly taking his life.

At midnight, the veterinarians conducted various tests like blood work, X-rays, and an ultrasound on the pet. Unfortunately, he is dealing with multiple health issues such as hookworms, anemia, and being underfed.

Furthermore, his low blood platelet count has prevented doctors from performing surgery to remove the tumor, as it would have been life-threatening.

They are running out of time because his tumor is growing. Doctors conducted several blood tests to determine the best timing for his surgery.
Midnight is a unique and beloved boy cherished by all.

The surgery on Midnight went smoothly, and the growth that turned out to be a testicular tumor was successfully removed. Surprisingly, the tumor was quite large, tipping the scales at approximately 4.85 kilograms.

“That was a heavy weight on his small body, but I’m happy it’s gone now. Midnight, who managed a few steps after the surgery, has really impressed us.” The veterinarian said.
“We adore this little guy and we’ll do whatever it takes to help him.”
Midnight is getting healthier and will be ready for his forever home in a few days.
