“I was very hesitant at first, but they persuaded me to ‘just come and see her’. It surprised me how confidently she was walking around the room at the vets. I had no idea what to expect from a blind cat but thought they’d be unable to navigate their surroundings and be withdrawn and subdued. How wrong I was! When I went over to her she purred like crazy and when I stroked her, she rolled over for belly-rubs. I was sold,” Emily told Daily Mail.

“Moet is a very sweet girl but I guess because she can’t see, she gets bored easily, so lots of playing and environmental enrichment is important,” she added.
