“The Never-Ending Quest: Britain’s Longest-Waiting Rescue Cat Still in Search of a Forever Home at 19 Years Old”

She's 19, the Oldest Rescue Cat in Britain But Can't Find a Home

Pops, the lively 19-year-old calico cat, is known as one of the most mature rescue cats in all of Britain. Despite her years of experience, she has yet to find her purr-fect forever home. Unfortunately, her unique eyes have posed a challenge in finding a family willing to adopt her.

Pop’s is currently the oldest rescue cat in the United Kingdom and is looking for a forever home. Belinda Dark from the Cats Protection League mentioned that Pop’s may not be as visually appealing as younger kittens, which could discourage people due to her eyes and frail appearance. Just a few months ago, a kind person found Pop’s limping along the road and promptly brought her to the veterinary clinic for care.

Poppy has found a new home with the Cats Protection League’s midsummer Norton and Radstock branch in Bath, Somerset, located in the United Kingdom. Despite her challenges with walking and being blind in both eyes, Poppy is a loving and affectionate girl. The staff at the shelter are hopeful that she will soon find a caring family to take her in, as they suspect she may have been left behind after her elderly owner could no longer care for her.

Upon her arrival, she appeared disoriented and her vision was poor. Despite being an elderly cat with limited strength, she craves human attention and affection. Pops is exceptionally friendly and is surprisingly thriving for her advanced age. She holds the title of the oldest cat in our care, surpassing the previous record of a 14-year-old cat.

Pops is a lovable and endearing cat who craves attention and cuddles. If only Pops could share her story with us, it’s likely she has faced hardships and challenges. It would be wonderful to see her journey end with the happiness and security she truly deserves.

We are convinced that Pops is truly stunning, especially with her captivating eyes that make her even more lovable. Let’s spread the word and find a forever home for Pops!
