It’s no secret that the internet is a haven for cat lovers like us, where we can indulge in cute cat pictures and videos all day long.
We humans have a soft spot for felines that look a bit peculiar, whether it’s due to their folded ears, flat faces, or even a face that resembles a tiny version of Yoda.
When a woman shared a photo of a cat that bore a striking resemblance to baby Yoda, little did she know it would become a sensation.
Unaware of the online world’s fascination with quirky-looking cats, vet assistant Jane Aviles uploaded a picture of a black and white cat with flattened ears.
This adorable feline, who bears a resemblance to the Jedi Master from Star Wars, was brought to the Cabarrus Animal Hospital in North Carolina by a rescue group.
Jane couldn’t resist capturing a few snapshots of the cutie and sharing them on Facebook.
She mentioned that the sweet creature is currently receiving medical care but is in need of a forever home as she is a stray.
The post garnered thousands of likes and comments, prompting Jane to remind users that while they may express interest in adopting this Yoda-like cat, there are countless other cats in need of homes.
‘There’s only one Yoda cat, so there’s only one perfect home for her,’ she emphasized.
Numerous people have offered to travel far and wide to adopt this feline, with some even reaching out from different countries, showing the extent of her popularity.

Jane Aviles shared a photo of a mischievous cat and used the opportunity to highlight the large number of cats in need of loving homes. She mentioned the staggering statistics – with 70 million stray cats in the US, four million cats coming into animal control facilities annually, and 1.4 million cats being euthanized due to the lack of available homes.
