From Timid Felines to Furry Besties: Adopted Kitties Embrace a New Companion

After being saved, a duo of kittens made the decision to open up and trust their new caretakers. To everyone’s surprise, they even welcomed a stray kitten into their little family.

Cinnamon and Nutmeg, two shy kittens, found their way to the Winston Memorial Foundation in Kuwait when their previous owners couldn’t take care of them anymore. The brown tabby, in particular, was extremely scared and would hiss, spit, and try to hide in any possible space.

Describing the kittens as not being socialized and having a bit of a spicy personality, Laila D’Souza, the founder of the rescue, mentioned that they gradually started to feel more comfortable in their new foster home as time went on.

When Cinnamon first arrived, she was skittish and frightened. Laila from @rescueforwinston tried to bond with the timid kitten by offering her a tiny bit of food on her fingers. Despite her initial hesitation, Cinnamon couldn’t resist the tempting smell of the food and ended up licking it off Laila’s hand.

Laila from Rescue for Winston noticed a slow but sure change in the kittens as they gradually began to trust their caregivers. Eventually, they happily devoured their food as if it was their first meal in days. With plenty of food and a cozy nest to call home, the kittens started to show their true personalities and adapted well to their new surroundings. Within a short span of time, they blossomed into loving and cuddly companions, basking in the affection and feeling more confident in their new home.

Cinnamon, who was previously timid, has now become a talkative and affectionate cat. She eagerly approaches her humans for cuddles and attention. Her brother, Nutmeg, mirrors her behavior without hesitation.
Not too long ago, Laila was informed about a young grey kitten discovered wandering around a bustling street. The kitten, at just 4-5 weeks old, was malnourished and frail. It was a critical situation that prompted Laila to take immediate action and rescue the kitten.

Edward, the adorable kitten rescued by Laila from @rescueforwinston, showed immense gratitude for a warm indoor home. His true personality shone through as he eagerly soaked up the love and affection given by Laila. In a heartwarming video, Edward can be seen playfully bouncing around before affectionately seeking attention from his human companion. Despite his constant meowing when left alone, it was clear that Edward craved companionship. Laila knew just the right pair of kittens to introduce to Edward to keep him company and bring even more joy into his life.

After being plucked from the chaos of the busy streets, he was overjoyed to have a cozy indoor space to call home. When he was introduced to Cinnamon and Nutmeg, his joy knew no bounds as he finally had companions to frolic and play with. Laila shared with Love Meow how he quickly felt a sense of belonging and happiness in their company.
Cinnamon and Nutmeg welcomed him with open paws, treating him like a long-lost sibling. The trio wasted no time in exploring and having fun together, blending seamlessly as if Edward had been a part of their group all along.

Edward instantly fell in love with his newfound pals Laila and the rescue kittens at @rescueforwinston. The little felines are known for their adorable squeaks and constant purring that fills the room. According to Laila, Cinnamon has transformed from a hissy ball of fur to a sweet, loving girl with the cutest chirps. They are all thriving and receiving endless love and pampering.

Laila from @rescueforwinston shared that the three furry friends are getting ready for their journey to the United States. Once they arrive, EmiliexFosters will work alongside them to find loving forever homes for each of them. Laila also mentioned that Edward, who used to be small, has grown both in size and personality. His coat has transitioned to a darker shade, and his true character has started to shine through.

Laila from @rescueforwinston shares that these kittens are truly making the most of their new lease on life. They are thriving, full of curiosity, and absolutely loving all the attention they are receiving from their humans. Each day is a new adventure for these little furballs!
