A baby duck who lost its mother to a fox has been adopted by a caring Labrador, who has embraced it as part of his family.
Thanks to Fred, Dennis managed to make it out of the wilderness alive. Fred instantly took a liking to the duckling and started looking after him, grooming him with his tongue.
Jeremy, Fred’s owner, feels that the duckling would not have made it without Fred’s affectionate demeanor, which has truly made a big difference.
