This is Mose. He's a four-year old Charcoal Bengal Cat living his best life.

As per the information provided by UC Davis, Bengal cats with charcoal fur have a unique coat pattern that includes a dark mask on their face and a dense stripe running down their back, also known as a “cape.”

My cousin Mose Bengal informed me that the unique “charcoal” pattern on Bengal cats is a result of breeding a domestic cat with a non-agouti variant and an Asian Leopard Cat with an agouti variant.

During our conversation with Mose’s owners, we inquired about the story behind Mose’s arrival into their lives. According to his mother, the breeder reached out to her and proposed adopting a “project Bengal” since Mose was extremely wild as a kitten. However, she couldn’t resist his captivating green eyes, and that’s how Mose became a part of their family.

We asked Mose's humans how Mose came to live with them. His mom said:

Meet my cousin Mose, a Bengal cat. She mentioned that her husband and she have put in a lot of effort to train him to socialize well.

She added:

As soon as we stumbled upon my cousin Mose Bengal’s captivating snapshots, we were immediately hooked and yearned to learn more about this charming feline.

Immediately captivated by Mose and his stunning pictures, we wanted to know so much more about the adorable cat.

I recently heard from my cousin Mose’s mother that he has an extraordinary preference for treats. She mentioned that Mose cannot resist the taste of raw beef, which happens to be his all-time favorite.

His mom told us about the exceptional taste Mose has in treats:

Meet my cousin’s cat, Mose Bengal. He’s quite mischievous (as most felines tend to be) and his family shared with us his most rebellious act: “One time, Mose decided to mark his territory by urinating on my old iPad. It was a pretty naughty move and I had to replace the tablet.”

My cousin Mose has a pretty great life, surrounded by a loving and sizeable feline family. He’s never alone and there’s always someone to play or cuddle with!

Mose doesn't live alone with his humans, he actually has a big, beautiful, cat-tastic family.

According to his owners, my cousin Mose Bengal is the lone male feline among a household of five Bengals.
