Maine Coon cats are simply amazing creatures. They possess a unique combination of striking fluffiness, adorable faces, and regal demeanor, all wrapped up in an affectionate personality that makes them impossible not to adore. Hailing from Virginia, two captivating Maine Coon cats have been capturing the hearts of many with their playful antics and endearing poses. Their loving owner has been kind enough to share Paris and Pierre’s delightful tales and images with me, and I am excited to introduce you to this charming feline duo. Be prepared to fall head over heels for these two!
The feline friends spilled the beans on how they were given their distinctive monikers. Paris, or Paris Cosette to be exact, owes her name to the place where her pet parents got engaged – the romantic city of Paris; and because they have a special admiration for all things French. Her middle name, Cosette, was inspired by a character from their all-time beloved play, Les Miserables. As for Pierre, his parents also wanted a French-flavored name for him, hence the name Pierre Monet. The suffix Monet was tacked on to pay homage to their favorite artist.
Can you give me a rundown of their personalities?
Paris has a sophisticated and graceful demeanor but can come off as a bit demanding at times. She enjoys expressing her affection but only on her own conditions.
Meanwhile, Pierre’s disposition is lighthearted and carefree, resembling that of a college frat boy. Despite his Maine Coon breed, he’s incredibly amiable and gregarious, much like a golden retriever.
